Overview
Urogynaecologist Dr J. Oliver Daly will outline the initial assessment of females who present with recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), contributory causes, treatment options and management in the general practice setting. Red flags that require referral to a specialist will be highlighted. Case studies will be used for context.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Perform initial assessment and investigations for recurrent UTIs.
  2. Identify the red flags for referral to a specialist.
