Bill is a well-known Melbourne businessman and active supporter of charitable causes in the community. The APC was Bill’s brainchild and it was through his fundraising efforts that the idea for a prostate cancer clinic for all men could be realised. Bill is Chair/Director of Guest Group and has held many senior corporate roles and also served as Director of the Melbourne Football Club and as the Chairman of FightMND. Bill is Chair of RULE Prostate Cancer and also Patron of the Australian Prostate Centre.

Peter Filipovic recently stepped down as CEO of Carlton United Breweries. He worked at CUB for over 20 years as the Taxation Director, Commercial Finance Director and CEO. Peter was educated at Monash University with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Law.

David is the Presidents of the Australian Hotels Association Victoria, which oversees the hotels, pubs and clubs industry in Victoria. From his AHA role David brings a wealth of government relations, strategic planning and community experience. He also provides excellent small business knowledge through his ownership with his wife Dani, of the successful Red Lion Hotel in Ballarat and the Montague Hotel in South Melbourne.

Tony is one of the leading robotic prostate surgeons internationally and the former Professorial Fellow & Head Department of Urology, The Royal Melbourne Hospital. Tony pioneered robotic surgery in Australia. In 2003 he performed the first open radical prostatectomy using robotic surgery in Australia at the Epworth Hospital. He is now into his fifteenth year of experience performing radical prostatectomies at Epworth Richmond. Together with Bill Guest Tony was instrumental in setting in the Australian Prostate Centre.

David is an accomplished professional within the hospitality and retail sales sectors, boasting proven and extensive expertise in strategic sales, innovation, brand development, and effective leadership. Over the course of 15 years at a prominent ASX top 100 organization, he has played a pivotal role in spearheading national sales operations for renowned Australian brands, including Keno and TAB. David's adept negotiation skills have been instrumental in cultivating thriving commercial relationships with industry partners and stakeholders, seamlessly paving the way for the implementation of both commercial and innovative strategic partnerships. Beyond his professional accomplishments, David stands as a dedicated supporter of the E.J. Whitten Foundation and, more recently, RULE, infusing an unwavering passion into the causes he champions.

Phil graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2000 with degrees in Science and Medicine & Surgery. He undertook his surgical training in Melbourne, after which he travelled to the UK and spent a year training with one of the world’s most experienced laparoscopic surgeons. Phil was then appointed Consultant at the prestigious Guy’s and St Thomas’ in London, where he undertook training in robotic surgery. Since returning to Melbourne at the end of 2012, Phil has established himself as a high volume robotic and laparoscopic specialist and performs around 150 of these cases each year.

As well as his passion for surgery, Phil is committed to teaching the next generation of urologists and keeping up with advances in surgery and medicine. Phil is a faculty member and content creator at the Australian Medical Robotics Academy, an advanced new simulation centre developed to train the robotic surgeons of the future. He is the Director of robotic training at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, an internationally recognised training program that attracts surgeons from around the world for fellowship training. He is a member of the Academy of Surgical Educators and was the Training, Accreditation and Education supervisor at Western Health from 2013 until 2018. Phil regularly supervises training workshops through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and has been an invited speaker on robotic surgical techniques at national and international conferences. He has a University of Melbourne appointment as Honorary Clinical Lecturer.

Neil Grant has a strong background in leadership, sales and brand development. He was appointed by Foster's in 2003 to lead sales in Victoria and Tasmania. Neil then became the National Trade Relations Manager for Foster's in 2009 drawing on his considerable industry experience and networks. Previously Neil was Southcorp Wines' Sales Director and worked for the group for 26 years. His experience includes leading and managing large sales teams and supporting the development of Australia's most iconic wine and beer brands.

Craig Hutchison is an Australian Melbourne-based businessman and broadcaster. As co founder and chief executive of Sports Entertainment Network (previously Crocmedia) and chairman of BallPark, he employs over 150 full and part time staff across the country in areas such as radio syndication, TV production and other content; sponsorship and partnership management; events, talent relations and management, and brand experience in the sports entertainment space. Craig brings a wealth of media, sponsorship and event management skills to the Board.

Executive General Manager, Real Estate & Community Media at NewsCorp Australia. Fiona is a dynamic and strategic leader who has built a reputation for consistently and successfully transforming some of Australia’s largest and most valuable media businesses, brands, products and categories. She has won numerous global awards for product launches notably International News Media Association’s (INMA) awards for Digital Audience Growth, Engagement and New Audience Segment; as well as awards for community engagement initiatives; and innovative and critical thinking.

David is a partner at Campbell & Shaw Solicitors, and has been engaged with Australian Prostate Cancer Research since it formed its Board in 2011. David is a former AFL Commissioner and was Essendon Football Club president from 1993 to 1996, having also played in four grand finals for Essendon.

Rob is the joint Managing Director of his family business, e&s which is a kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplier. From an early, age Rob was already involved in the business and often helped in every area of the company from the sales floor to the warehouse. His extensive experience and knowledge of the business are accumulated from the years of dealing with customers and suppliers. Rob's involvement RULE is one close to his heart. In 2006, prostate cancer claimed the life of his father and since then e&s has been a strong supporter of the E.J. Whitten Foundation and now RULE.

Travis is currently the Owner/Director of 2500m Pty Ltd, which is an independent consulting practice specialising in providing businesses with operations, people, strategy, executive leadership & project management services and support. Travis has over 28 years of leadership experience in operations, client relationship, stakeholder engagement, project, strategic planning and change/transformation management across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Asia. Travis was also the co-founder of White Owl for Men’s Health Awareness, a not-for profit organisation which aimed to help more men be aware & proactive in maintaining their physical & mental health. Travis' practical experience is supported by an undergraduate degree in Town Planning and a post-graduate degree in Project Management.

Drew Robinson founded Drew Robinson Pty Limited over 25 years ago. Drew continues to run the company based on responsive individual service underpinned by genuine family values. The down-to-earth generosity of Drew is very much the hallmark of the practice. For Drew, family values run deep, both inside and outside of the practice. He has been an honorary member of a number of organisations. Including Challenge, a charity supporting kids with cancer where he has been a board member for over 20 years. Drew joined the APC Board in 2020.

John has worked in the commercial legal sector for more than three decades. He was a Partner of Mallesons Stephen Jaques from 1987 until his retirement from the partnership in late 2009. He worked in the Dispute Resolution Group where he specialised in all aspects of corporate litigation, including contractual, product liability and trade practices claims, media and defamation.

Louise commenced with the Bendigo Adelaide Bank in October 2018 as Chief People Officer after more than 20 years in senior human resources roles. At the Bank, Louise is responsible for lifting capability and building a performance culture to support Group growth and productivity. Louise has worked across and been responsible for all aspects of human resource functions including organisational development, talent acquisition and sourcing strategies, industrial relations and safety. A particular area of focus continues to be organisational culture, including risk culture and the way in which this impacts business outcomes. Louise holds a Bachelor of Business and is a lifelong human resources practitioner, with a deep passion for building organisational capability within a culture of performance and accountability, underpinned by shared common values. Louise is a member of the Carlton Football Club - People and Culture Sub Committee and is a member of the Swimming Victoria Nominations Committee.

Edward John 'Ted' Whitten Junior was a former Australian Rules footballer and is son of the inspiration of the E.J. Whitten Foundation. Ted Whitten Junior was a trustee and founder of the E.J. Whitten Foundation. The Foundation was established in 1995 after the passing of his father from prostate cancer. Ted was responsible for the formation of the Foundation with the Footscray Football Club.
