It’s the most common form of cancer in Australian men, with over 3,000 men dying from it every year. 40% of Australian men don’t have a regular GP, so unfortunately prostate cancer can often go undetected.

Not only the men diagnosed, but also their families and loved ones, are in need of better care and support, access to world-class treatment, and care that is comprehensive, supportive and lifesaving.

You empower us to deliver the best in care, research, and community education – and this helps us to reduce rates, improve outcomes, and minimise life-altering complications such as incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and mental health issues.

Where your donation goes

Based in North Melbourne, the APC offers world-class medical and support services to patients with prostate cancer and urology conditions. Our team of specialists work closely with both patients and their loved ones to help them navigate what can be stressful and uncertain times.

• Research – working towards a world where no man dies from prostate cancer, and continuously improving treatment options. View our research projects.
• Education – ensuring the community is aware of the issues and know when to get tested, as early detection radically improves recovery chances providing world-class training to health care professionals and empowering future generations to continue expanding on the hard work already done in this field.
