Overview
A practical webinar for general practitioners presented by Dr Deanne Soares, Urological Surgeon.

This session will cover:

  • Approach to testicular lumps and scrotal pain.
  • Haematuria in younger men – when it matters.
  • Haematospermia – reassurance, investigation, and when it’s not benign.
  • Chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome / urethritis.
  • Early erectile dysfunction – organic vs psychogenic causes.
  • Which investigations are actually useful.
  • When to refer to a urologist.

Learning outcomes
By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify serious pathology in younger men requiring urgent referral.
  2. Confidently manage common benign presentations.
  3. Recognise when to avoid unnecessary imaging and investigations.
