Hormone Therapy

Men undergoing hormone therapy treatment for their prostate cancer may experience side effects including fatigue, muscle and bone loss, cardiovascular disease, weight gain, reduced sexual drive, mood changes and hot flushes.

The hormone therapy clinic team (made up of nurses, prostate cancer GP, exercise physiologists & endocrinologists) is here to treat particular side effects of the hormone therapy.

This includes screening for metabolic side effects, monitoring weight and blood pressure, and development of an individual exercise program for patients to help minimise side effects.

Your team of specialists can help you deal with side effects from hormone therapy.
