Partner Support

At APC, carers and partners are part of the team and have access to supportive services.

At APC, our focus is on giving patients the best of care. That includes their families, partners, and loved ones.

We know that cancer doesn’t only affect our patients - it affects their supportive caregivers too. Caring comes with shouldering new responsibilities, learning about treatments, medications and side effects, and looking after your own emotional wellbeing.

Research shows that partners of men with prostate cancer are often more distressed that the man himself. We have a caring team of nurses and psychologists who are available to support you during this time.

Partners and families of our prostate cancer patients are welcome at APC, and we offer all partners support counselling with our nursing team and psychologists.
