Emotional Wellbeing

Psychology and Mindfulness

Emotional wellbeing is an aspect of prostate cancer survivorship that we take seriously. We are advocates for the emotional health of men who face challenges in their prostate cancer journey. APC has specialist psychology services available to all patients from diagnosis through to recovery.

Sessions with your psychologist can help you approach treatment and recovery with positive strategies in place.

APC psychologists also offer weekly meditation sessions at the clinic. Meditation and mindfulness can help patients with pain management, and maintaining a sense of well-being throughout treatment and recovery.

Support for partners

Partners and families of our prostate cancer patients are welcome at APC, and we offer all partners support counselling with our nursing team and psychologists.
